At Rent My Wardrobe, we’re all about giving beautiful pieces the second (and third) life they deserve. If you have a designer dress sitting in your wardrobe that you’re not quite ready to part with, why not let it work for you? Our consignment service enables you to earn while we handle the rest.
How it Works
Got a dress sitting in your wardrobe you'd like to earn cash on? Email hello@rent-my-wardrobe.co.nz with the brand, style, size, colour and condition including any photos of the garment.
Once accepted, we'll send you a consignment agreement. Your dress will be added to our collection and carefully stored with our stock.
From professional photography to customer service, shipping, cleaning and returns - we make renting (and consigning) seamless!
After shipping, cleaning and any discounts or damage insurance, your earnings will be paid out at the end of each month.
What we accept
We’re looking for high-demand designer brands, including (but not limited to): Misha, For Love & Lemons, Effie Kats, House of CB, Deconduarte, Bec + Bridge, Arcina Ori, Benni, Aje, Ruby, Realisation Par, Manning Cartell, HNTR The Label, Paris Georgia and Rat & Boa.
If your dress isn’t from one of these brands, we still encourage you to apply—we may still accept it!
Garments must be in excellent or new condition. They should be freshly cleaned before sending them to us.
Your dress will be listed on our website for an initial 3-month period. At the end of this time, we’ll assess how well it’s renting. If it’s performing well, we may offer to extend the consignment for an additional three months. If it hasn’t had strong demand, we’ll return the garment to you.
Exclusive Listing:Â While consigning with Rent My Wardrobe, your dress must not be listed for rent or sale elsewhere.
